When you choose to repent, turning away from your sinful actions, and embrace the path of following Jesus, a deep transformation occurs, and you are reborn as a new creation.

The Transaction
You must get this! There is a supernatural transaction that occurs when we accept Jesus Christ. When you turn to Jesus, you truly become a new creation. What does this mean? The old you is truly dead! You are now holy, righteous, and pure. You can stand boldly before God because of what Jesus did for you!
The Reality
These aren’t concepts. They are the truths about you. Instead of thinking you are a sinner that will keep messing up, know that you are a holy and righteous son or daughter of God that is growing into their true identity! We must constantly renew our minds with the Word of God to know who we are now that we are in the family of God!
The Victory
One of the most challenging aspects of the Christian walk is maintaining authority over the battlefield of the mind. The devil will want to keep reminding you that you are still trapped in the labels of your past - anger, lies, addiction, abandonment. Every morning, we must speak God’s words over our lives - we are victorious through Jesus Christ.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS
2 Corinthians 5:17
Because of Jesus, you are a new creation!
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

New life is found in Jesus Christ.
“Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.”
Renew your mind daily with the Word of God!
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Romans 12:2
TIME TO DECIDE
Now that you have made it this far, you can see that God is calling you. He desires your whole heart. We believe that today is the day of salvation. It doesn't matter the exact words that you say, it matters that your heart turns to Jesus Christ. In your own words, tell Him that you repent of your sins, you receive His gift of salvation, and that you will follow Him all the days of your life. Welcome to the Family of God!
As a guide, you can say the following prayer:
"Dear God, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sins and that You raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do Your will. I pray this in the Name of Jesus. Amen."
As a guide, you can say the following prayer:

Getting started can be intimidating. There are so many translations, where do I start?! Start with the one that you will read! After you fall in love with the Word of God, you can then start to compare translations, but if you aren’t reading anything, you are missing the mirror that gives you understanding of who you were created to be! Check out – NKJV, NLT, ESV and other versions to get started.
Pray
Prayer is a conversation. It’s talking to Jesus! Don’t worry about saying the right things, it is the condition of the heart. Ask Him questions and wait for an answer. Be real with Him. He doesn’t need you to wear a mask in His Presence. He knows the "real you" anyway. Praise Him! Share your struggles. Share your joys. He hears you!
Join A Church Family
As Christians, we need to be in community. It’s not about a social club; it is about growing together in the things of God. It is about being around mature Christians to be discipled by, and when you are ready, to disciple others as you have been discipled.
Get Baptized
When we are baptized in water, we go into the water one way and come out another! There is a spiritual transaction that takes place. It is an expression of your sins being washed away. Get water baptized. It can be done in a bathtub or in a church. What matters is the condition of your heart!
Tell Others About Jesus
"Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give" (Matthew 10:8). Now that you have been given the gift of eternal life, it is now your privilege to share this Good News with others. You don’t need to go to conference after conference to start. Just start! Pray in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ for healing. Pray for people to receive a touch from the Holy Spirit and experience the love of God. It is already in you! Tell people your testimony. No one can deny what God has done in your life! Share Jesus!
